Los Angeles Safety Manager Overview:
The Safety Manager will be expected to champion all vehicle safety design activities in the Los Angeles plant. This will include but not limited to: conducting and facilitating safety training, performing risk assessments and safety compliance audits, championing project safety planning, and lead safety case management. The most important part of the Safety Managers job will be to see to the continuous improvement of the safety processes within the facility. This person will be involved in making sure the production of cars meets all safety standards on a local, state, and federal level.
Los Angeles Safety Manager Job Opening
- The Safety Manager will lead the engineering team in making sure all vehicle architecture is built with the purchaser’s safety in mind.
- In this job the Safety Manager will be in charge of building and maintaining the crash model.
- This person will be supporting the component, sub-system, and vehicle testing departments to ensure that vehicles meet all safety standards.
- The Safety Manager will also be expected to collaborate with vendors and suppliers to improve the safety and quality of parts.
Safety Manager (Los Angeles Area) Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required for the Safety Manager position.
- A strong candidate will have had previous hands on experience with designing safety systems for vehicles.
- A strong understanding of all local, state, and federal automotive standards is a huge plus for this job.
