Houston Raw Material Planning Manager Overview:

On a daily basis, the Raw Material Planning Manager must delivery on a variety of key performance metrics that measure cost and efficiency. The Raw Material Planning Manager will need to have a great deal of materials management acumen when completing day-to-day duties in order to have success while on the job. The Raw Material Planning Manager will additionally serve as a customer advocate and communicate needs to the manufacturing sites and suppliers in order to ensure quality while on the job. and will be liaising with procurement teams to cut cost. The Raw Material Planning Manager will report to upper management.

• The Raw Material Planning Manager will be overseeing the materials management capabilities of over 5 manufacturing sites with a multimillion dollar inventory budget.
• This role will ensure that all fulfillment systems are standardized across the manufacturing site.
• This role will work to resolve any customer issues that may come up across suppliers.
• The Raw Material Planning Manager will not need to go outside of Houston, Texas very often for this job. 

Raw Material Planning Manager (Houston Area) Job Requirements:

• At minimum, a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is required for this job.
• At least 6 years of experience in materials management and logistics is required for this job.
• Customer service acumen is essential for this role.
