Lake Cumberland Quality Engineer Job Overview:
For this Lake Cumberland job, the Quality Engineer must intake and look over materials and items so that they could properly be incorporated into the organization’s automotive manufacturing processes. He or she will be assisting the Quality Manager at the Lake Cumberland site when it comes to interfacing with clients and affiliated suppliers while solving problems, coming up with control plans, and completing PPAP. He or she will not have anyone reporting directly to him/her for this job, but the Quality Engineer will report to the Quality Manager at the Lake Cumberland, Kentucky site.
Lake Cumberland Quality Engineer Job Opening
- For this job, the Quality Engineer must examine a variety of products for defects in quality.
- He or she will verify various specifications of the product and material.
- The Quality Engineer will reject defective parts and materials.
- He or she will test various products at the Lake Cumberland, Kentucky site.
- The Quality Engineer will additionally need to be able to operate various diagnostic equipment in order to complete quality tests for various jobs.
- The Quality Engineer will have minimal travel, but will be asked to take on additional tasks as necessary as assigned by the Quality Manager.
Quality Manager (Lake Cumberland Area) Job Requirements:
- Around 5 years of experience, preferably in automotive manufacturing, will be required for this Lake Cumberland job.
- Strong communication skills will be a requirement for this job.
- The Quality Engineer will need to represent strong focus and judgement at the Lake Cumberland plants in order to ensure proper manufacturing processes.
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering is required.
