Raleigh Quality Assurance Manager Overview:
The Raleigh Quality Assurance manager will lead the quality team within the manufacturing facilities for multiple subsidiaries. The QA Manager will develop, establish, and maintain a quality management system for the company, its subsidiaries, and for key vendors across the globe. This position will require a great deal of travel and teamwork with staff at multiple facilities.
Raleigh Quality Assurance Manager Job Opening:
- The Raleigh Quality Assurance Manager will develop and implement a quality management system with clear quality procedure as well as a system to effectively maintain documentation.
- Oversee the ISO 9001 internal and external audits and certification across many locations globally.
- Implement sourcing policies to reduce raw material defects, audit suppliers’ quality management systems, and assists in quality for new product development.
- The Raleigh Quality Assurance manager will suggest preventative and corrective actions to reduce defects in raw materials.
- Gather and submit quality control data for regulatory audits.
- Oversee the procedures of quality to control to guarantee tests are administered based on particular item specifications as well as standard quality control methods and procedures.
- The Raleigh Quality Assurance Manager will take part in internal quality assessments and audits as is necessary.
- Perform evaluations of the analytical methods used, suggest potential improvements.
Quality Assurance Manager (Raleigh Area) Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
- A masters degree in engineering would be a plus for this job.
- At least three to five years of experience in quality for textile manufacturing.
- International manufacturing experience preferred.
- Proven history of implementing quality standards.
- Experience supervising and leading a staff of quality engineers.
- Lean/Six Sigma training and certification.
- Familiarity with statistical software, particularly Minitab or SAS.
- Familiarity with production processes, raw materials, cost, quality control, and techniques to maximize the efficiency of processes.
- Able to travel up to 70%.
