He or she will also utilize their negotiation skills to review contracts between the purchasing department and vendors. Additionally, the Purchasing Director will be tasked with operating several pieces of office equipment as well as ensuring improvement within the job scope. For this job, the Purchasing Director will be responsible for providing leadership to several departments to assist in accomplishing the company’s quality improvement objectives. 

Las Vegas Purchasing Director Job Opening

• The Las Vegas Purchasing Director’s primary job will be to supervise the activities of the purchasing department and monitor the procurement of materials and equipment within the manufacturing facility.
• Additionally, the Las Vegas Purchasing Director will be responsible for ensuring continuous job scope improvement as well as operating standard office equipment.
• Also, he or she will oversee purchases contracts between the company’s purchasing department and vendors.
• The Purchasing Director will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining vendor relationships as well as making sure they comply with company policies and regulations.
• There is minimal travel outside of Las Vegas, Nevada that is required for this job.
• The Las Vegas Purchasing Director will complete any additionally assigned jobs as necessary. 

Purchasing Director (Las Vegas Area) Job Requirements: 

• A four-year degree in business operations or a related discipline.
• At least seven years of supply chain or procurement management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with suppliers in procurement industry.
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
