The chief job for the Chicago Project Manager will be to lead projects through each requisite step of the project in order to introduce new products developed in-house at the Chicago site or from external sources. - The Project Manager must collaborate with colleagues to create and standardized development strategy for each program and guarantee that risk mitigation plans are properly managed.
- Develop program agendas and hold governance meetings with internal and external project partners.
- Oversee and analyze project performance measurements or metrics at the Chicago, Illinois site.
- The Project Manager will provide project updates and developments to the senior management team.
- Ensure that projects are properly coordinated and all information is properly disseminated throughout the project process.
- The Project Manager must drive decisions in Joint Steering Committees to lead for quick yet considerate turn around on decisions.
- Ensure that internal partners are ideologically and strategically aligned.
- The Project Manager will provide external partners with a clear and unified vision for the project.
- Guide drug research and development by keeping a macro view.
- The Project Manager must keep current with FDA and CE-IVD approval processes and requirements.
Project Manager (Chicago Area) Job Requirements:
- The Chicago Project Manager will need a minimum of a four year degree from an accredited university for this job.
- A Master’s degree would be preferable for this job.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be preferable for this job.
- Five plus years of job experience with In Vitro Diagnostics or 510K projects with molecular assays.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects leading to approved PMA submissions.
- Proven history of leadership, able to build a strong team and complete team objectives.
- Job experience demonstrating exceptional critical thinking, conflict resolution, risk management, and organizational alignment skills.
- The Project Manager must be able to motivate groups, convey a clear and confident vision, and drive people to reach a goal
- Able to work with cross-functional skills. Understands how to utilize every member of a team to the fullest potential.
- Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills.
- Skilled in both verbal and written communication skills with others at varying levels.
- A thorough understanding of FDA and CE-IVD rules and regulations.
- Able to motivate people to reach goals and exceed them.
