Jacksonville Production Supervisor Overview:

The Jacksonville Production Supervisor will provide direction, supervision, and coaching to production personnel. The Production Supervisor will take part in regular management meetings in order to understand company goals and objectives for the facility. The Production Supervisor will provide coaching and corrective action to personnel as necessary, and will recommend other actions as necessary. The Production Supervisor will work with management to implement policy changes and initiatives.

Jacksonville Production Supervisor Job Opening

The Jacksonville Production Supervisor will provide direction and mentorship to the manufacturing team each day.
Assign tasks across the staff to ensure that the production schedule is maintained.
Responsible for keeping all activities compliant with OSHA regulations.
The Jacksonville Production Supervisor will be responsible for the metrics related safety, quality, productivity, and cost. Ensure that these priorities are properly balanced.
Monitor inventory levels to ensure customer needs are met.
Regularly lead safety audits.
The Jacksonville Production Supervisor will study trends in production metrics to identify causes and areas of improvement.
Plan and implement quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
Establish production and staffing needs for the next shift.
The Jacksonville Production Supervisor will administer the facility’s standard operating procedure, and suggest revisions as necessary.
Ensure that production personnel are appropriately trained.

Production Supervisor (Jacksonville Area) Job Requirements:

A four year degree in business or a related area.
At least three years of food manufacturing experience.
Experience managing staffs of eighty to one hundred reports.
Comfortable working under deadlines.
Able to work a flexible schedule and overtime as necessary.
A high level of familiarity with SAP.
Familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite of programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Familiar with GMP/SQF.
A high level of motivation, able to operate with little direction.
A devotion to safety.
Trained in the principles of Lean.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
