New York Production Manager Overview:
The New York Production Manager will over see shipping, maintenance, warehouse, inventory, and transportation staff. The Production Manager reports directly to the Director of Operations, and will assign tasks to meet objectives assigned by the Director of Operations. The Production Manager will ensure that staff understand the goals of their area and what actions need to be taken. The Production manager will ensure production staff perform under LEAN methodology.

- The New York Production Manager will use production system optimization tools to efficiently manage staff and drive productivity.
- Clearly communicate information to other shifts, groups, and reports.
- Find constructive solutions to conflicts when necessary.
- The New York Production Manager will perform quality checks to ensure the products meet internal and external requirements.
- Direct staff to ensure that all schedules are maintained.

- Strong problem solving skills, able to determine the primary issue, determine potential solutions and alternatives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Able to drive high activity through leading by example.
- Strong decision making skills, able to make definitive choices.
- Proven history of developing a high performing production staff.
