Columbus Procurement Manager Overview:
The Columbus, Ohio Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the supply chain team. Most commonly the Ohio Procurement Manager will be ensuring the flow of materials in support of the manufacturing team. The position also requires the Ohio Procurement Manager to maintain optimum inventory levels and to manage surplus and obsolete inventories. Additionally, the Ohio Procurement Manager will work with supplier to negotiate reschedules and expedited shipments as needed. The Columbus, Ohio Procurement Manager will also be asked to track supplier quality and performance. The Procurement Manager will be asked to participate in supplier selection based on supplier quality, product type, and the requirements from the manufacturing team.
