Los Angeles Process Engineer Overview:
The Process Engineer will be responsible for packaging and assembly of microelectronic components, printed circuit boards and surface mount technology. This job will focus on establishing and maintaining the various manufacturing processes for the startup facility in the greater Los Angeles area. The role will be responsible for process engineering statistics (SPC or DOE) by using Minitab or JMP at the Los Angeles facility.

- The Process Engineer will set up process equipment and qualify production processes.
- This job works with microelectronic assembly techniques including mechanical and chemical manufacturing processes.
- The Process Engineer will need to be able to research new packaging techniques and adapt to innovate and solve assembly schemes for developing manufacturing processes.
- This role is responsible for training assembly operators and technicians by qualifying processes of manufacturing.
- The Process Engineer will provide tech support to operators and technicians at the Los Angeles manufacturing facility in the form of stencil printing, reflow soldering, die attach, wire bonding, molding and dicing.
Process Engineer (Los Angeles Area) Job Requirements:
- Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in material sciences, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field from an accredited degree granting institution.
- This job requires a minimum of three to five years’ experience working with microelectronic components, assembly, and manufacturing operations.
- This job will require an understanding of the startup experience and environment in the greater Los Angeles area.
