Houlton Process Engineer Overview:
The Houlton, Maine Process Engineer will be accountable for tool development and design for parts geometries for all shop presses. The Process Engineer is responsible for developing the processes to manufacture parts, maintaining part quality and instructing and training others as needed. This job will include continual analysis of in-house tools, equipment and processes to determine where efficiency can be improved through modifications, or by applying LEAN methodology. Additionally, the Houlton Process Engineer will Communicate with floor/inspection personnel on manufacturing issues and resolve any issues that arise. This job requires the Process Engineer to train and instruct others as needed to use equipment properly and safely in production, as well as leading and participating in kaizen events for continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Process Engineer (Houlton Area) Job Requirements:
- BS in Engineering or a minimum of 5-years experience working in an engineering technical support role.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate and develop work instructions, solutions to problems and reports for all levels of employees, supplier
and customers. - Knowledge of ISO, Lean manufacturing, Kaizen and Six Sigma helpful.
- Strong computer skills including
AutoCad or equivalent Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint. - Knowledge of operation of work orders; ability to read, understand and implement customer changes, Bill of Material operation and ability to make changes.
