- The President will collaborate with the parent company outside of Chicago, Illinois to develop a framework for the new management team.
- Lead the search of the management team and serve as a key decision maker in their selection.
- Collaborate with the parent company and the management team to develop five and ten year plans for the company.
- The President will oversee the expansion of business and the success of its multiple facilities. Provide guidance and direction to operations managers to ensure success for the Chicago, Illinois location.
- Direct, monitor, and evaluate the performance of the management team, ensuring that all departments are functioning optimally.
- Oversee the creation of annual budgets with appropriate members of the management team and with all other appropriate personnel.
- The President must develop policies and processes to implement improvements in order to meet organizational strategic goals, both in and outside of Chicago for this job.
- Travel to clients outside of Chicago, Illinois when necessary and serve as the main ambassador for the company.
- Negotiate important level deals and contracts with key clients for various jobs.
- The President must establish growth and profit goals for the short and long term, implement strategies, policies, and initiatives to meet those goals.
- Maintain an exceptional knowledge of industry job trends and innovations. Keep membership with trade organizations, attend trade shows for the company and for self improvement, stay current with industry periodicals and journals.
- Inspire and guide others in the company to meet goals both inside and outside of the Chicago, Illinois plant.
President (Chicago Area) Job Requirements:
- A minimum of a four-year degree from an accredited college or university is preferred, but not a necessity.
- The President must have experience managing a multi-facility operation for this job.
- Master of Business Administration degree is beneficial for the job.
- A high level of energy, results oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to grow a company.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, written and verbal.
- Proven job history of implementing successful strategies.
- Several years of experience managing an organization successfully while on the job.
