The Tampa, Florida Plant Manager will oversee all areas of the manufacturing facility. The Tampa, Florida Plant Manager will ensure that the facility remains productive and will identify ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the systems within the plant. The Tampa, Florida Plant Manager will direct supervisors and area managers to ensure that goals for the company are met. Regularly meet with key managers to ensure policies and strategies are implemented appropriately.
Tampa Plant Manager Job Opening:
- The Tampa, Florida Plant Manager will oversee all areas of the facility to ensure that the plant performance is maintained and improves year over year.
- Develop goals and benchmarks for the facility, implement policies to reach those goals.
- Schedule and lead meetings with supervisors and area manager to communicate priorities, goals, and new policies.
- The Tampa, Florida Plant Manager will meet with senior leaders of the company to discuss goals for the facility and the company overall.
- Ensure that the facility is properly staffed in order to maintain a high level of effectiveness.
- Ensure that employees are properly trained.
Plant Manager (Tampa Area) Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related area.
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in chemical manufacturing.
- Strong communication skills, able to relate to and form relationships with a variety of personalities at varying levels of an organization.
- Strong leadership skills, able to negotiate, compromise and form a consensus.
- Excellent organizational skills, able to manage several priorities at a given time.
- Strong business acumen.
- Experience in managing profit and loss.
