Ontario Plant Manager Overview:
For this Ontario, Canada job opening the Plant Manager will be responsible for continued successful daily operations. Specific responsibilities could include directing activities so products manufactured are on schedule, and within quality standards. This role will be responsible for optimizing all resources, reducing overhead cost, and controlling the plants raw material costs. Also the Plant Manager will be in charge of motivating and developing facility personnel. The Plant Manager will also be fully accountable for the P & L performance of the facilities and expected to keep the plant continuing to meet customer’s needs.

- The Plant Manger will be in charge of controlling the short and long-term costs for the Ontario plant, with a view of driving costs down
- This job will be head of building and maintaining relationships that motivate and encourage plant employees and direct reports
- In this role, the plant manager must plan, evaluate, and control manufacturing operations across three shifts.
- There is minimal travel required outside of Ontario for this position
Plant Manager (Ontario Area) Job Requirements:
- This job requires a candidate who has had previous experience with plastic manufacturing.
- A Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred, however other engineering/technical degrees will be considered.
- Previous work experience in Canada would be preferred.
- Ability to carry out instructions whether in a written, spoken, or diagram form.
- Must have at least five years of first hand supervisory manufacturing experience.
