Los Angeles Plant Manager Overview:
The Los Angeles Plant Manager will oversee all plant operations. The LA Plant Manager will schedule all shifts and shall provide daily direction and supervision of the plant’s technicians. The Plant Manager will ensure that maintenance activities are carried out according to schedule, and that the facility compliant with all safety and quality standards. The Plant Manger staff will be responsible for developing the facility’s staff.

- The Los Angeles Plant Manager will create daily and weekly plans to ensure all work is completed according to customer deadlines.
- Provide direction, supervision, and feedback to manufacturing technicians.
- Schedule maintenance activities to ensure that maintenance activities do not negatively impact production.
- The Los Angeles Plant Manager will ensure that safety inspections occur regularly.
- Oversee all investigations into accidents or other problems within the facility.
- Lead training seminars as well as other important meetings within the facility.
- The Los Angeles Plant Manager will meet with supervisors to share information, provide direction, and communicate goals or objectives for the facility.
- Assist in the hiring of particular positions.
- Provide feedback to employees regularly for professional improvement.

Plant Manager (Los Angeles Area) Job Requirements:
- A four year degree from an accredited university in the field of engineering, business, or a related area.
- At least seven years of experience in management.
- High level of familiarity with Metallurgy, operating a foundry and/or a forge.
- Expert level understanding of metal fabrication equipment such as forgings, castings, and other common pieces of equipment.
- Familiar with state occupational safety and health regulations.
- Able to use computers and standard business software.
- Flexible schedule, able to work more than forty hours and weekends.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A proven ability to develop a staff of manufacturing professionals.
