- The Houston Planning Manager will hold responsibility for all planning within the facility.
- Work with management to develop goals for the planning department, implement strategies to reach those goals.
- The Houston Planning Manager will consistently analyze KPI’s to identify areas of improvement and places where costs could be cut.
- Regularly check planning data to identify areas of improvement. Develop new processes in order to improve planning accuracy.
- Ensure the planning employees are properly trained and maintain their knowledge of the field.
- The Houston Planning manager will take part in the hiring process for new planning staff.
Planning Manager (Houston Area) Job Requirements:
- A
four year degree in engineering, supply chain, or a related area from an accredited university. - At least five years of experience in a management role in a manufacturing environment.
- At least eight years of experience in a supply chain planning role.
- High level of familiarity with SAP and its planning
modlules - Familiar with planning for inventory, production, demand, as well as sales & operations.
- Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills.
- Good communication skills, strong active listening skills, able to relate to
other easily. - Great financial acumen.
