• The position will need to oversee and manage staffing levels for both supervisory and labor teams at the Long Beach, California site.
• The Operations Manager will be conducting advanced operational strategy and continuous improvement techniques in order to bolster terminal productivity.
• This job will need to analyze to mediate equipment and capacity needs in both the short and long term.
• The position will also support customer service teams and will share responsibility for bettering the relationships with clients.
• The Operations Manager will also spearhead all facets of safety and compliance within the organization.
• The role will also involve ensure that all assistant operations managers are optimizing their productivity.

Operations Manager (Long Beach Area) Job Requirements:

• A 4-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of job experience are required for this job.
• At least 5 years of managerial job experience in terminal operations.
• Demonstrated job experience of proficient managerial and supervisory duties.
• Strong knowledge of labor relations, staffing, budgetary management, and report development.
