• The Metallurgist Engineer will adhere to environmental policies, programs, and procedures at the Flint, Michigan plant.
• Help organize training and operations of furnaces, heat treating, and other processes.
• The Metallurgist Engineer will assemble reports on customer complaints and environmental programs.
• Perform corrective actions on certain activities from suppliers.
• The Metallurgist Engineer will perform product experiments and conduct advanced product quality planning (APQP).
• Communicate with customers on their concerns with the product and implement short-term and long-term solutions while working in cross-functional teams.
• The Metallurgist Engineer will compile product and process data in order to keep management informed on current industry trends involving the company.
