Chicago Mechanic Overview:
There is a Mechanic job opening in the greater Chicago, Illinois area. The Chicago Mechanic will be responsible for repairing all equipment used for production in a manufacturing facility. This may also include replacing parts as needed. The selected individual will also be responsible for assisting with the unloading of bulk materials, as needed. Once mechanical maintenance work is complete, the qualified individual will be required to clean up scraps or items left behind to ensure production can resume as safely as possible. The Chicago Mechanic will be required to diligently record all parts used and equipment serviced. The selected individual will be expected to record information on inventories and part availability. Furthermore, they may be asked to provide detailed reports on preventive maintenance tactics and inspections.
