The Material Flow Engineer will be primarily responsible for implementing material flow processes to improve efficiency of delivery of material and overall manufacturing operations. - The Material Flow Engineer will establish and implement strategies including:
- Sizing material storage correctly and efficiently
- Establishing efficient picking and delivery methods
- Improving manufacturing productivity by selecting the optimal delivery frequency and size to maximize the efficiency of overall processes
- Develop efficient measurements for material movement with the ability to track and record the movements.
- The Material Flow Engineer will meet metric requirements by analyzing data and methods to develop more efficient material flow processes to improve overall performance at the Greenville, North Carolina site.
- The Material Flow Engineer will provide project plans in detail for implementing the new system and tracking materials.
- The Material Flow Engineer will develop and establish measurement programs to set standards on work force utilization and the overall efficiency of operations at the Greenville, North Carolina site.
- Able to validate the measures, which include warehouse costs schedules, process flows, and warehouse schedules.
- The Material Flow Engineer will optimize warehouse operations by developing warehouse slotting planning tools while supporting the needs of manufacturing at the Greenville, North Carolina site.

Material Flow Engineer (Greenville Area) Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a discipline related to these is needed.
- At least 2 years of warehouse job experience with exposure to high volume processes.
- A general understanding of the methods used for material floes and applying these to manufacturing operations.
- Use of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP) and Warehouse Management.
- Job experience being a leader in a project management role.
- Must be able to be a problem solver and think quickly on your feet.
- Always be focused on the customer to improve relationships and sell the business.
- Be an outside-the-box thinker with a creative mindset to improve processes while coming to a valid conclusion from data.
- Have leadership ability with managing a team as well as building a team that will work effectively and be able to improve overall processes.
- Ability to read and understand floor layouts as well as material requirements and scheduling documentation is a must for this job.
