Candidates are responsible for:

Head up an Engineering team to meet goals for Development and Sustainment of company products
Construct plans and cost metrics to follow performance in order to forecast project completion
Prepare and discuss budget proposals, project schedules, and the status of various costs
Construct drawings, data sheets, schematics, specifications, and other visuals for mechanical components and assemblies
Create product specifications for electrical, mechanical, and software projects
Have a role in the company’s board representing the engineering team providing input from an engineer’s perspective
Comply with company safety policies
Contribute to committee meetings involving new products by providing data on cost estimates, as well as offering expertise on the actual implementation of various projects

Candidates require:

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field
Over 10 years of experience in manufacturing is preferred
Hands-on attitude with a great attention to detail
Noteworthy experience managing the launches of new products by being in charge of both hardware and software development
Expertise in acting as a leader, helping to create strategic goals, performance goals and project budgets, and sustaining continuous project progress
Exemplary written and verbal communication skills are a must, the candidate will be required to communicate highly technical concepts that groups of various competencies will need to understand them
The desire to dive deeply into projects and support the team in any way possible
Expertise on mechanical engineering concepts such as tooling, die casts, and more
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft office suite)

Additional requirements are:

Master of Science (MS) in an engineering field or a Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
