Dallas Maintenance Supervisor Overview:

The Dallas Maintenance Supervisor will ensure that maintenance activities are properly scheduled and carried out. The Maintenance Supervisor will direct and oversee the actions of maintenance personnel to ensure that work is properly carried out in a timely fashion. The Maintenance supervisor will coordinate with manufacturing supervision to schedule maintenance activities to minimize unnecessary downtime. The Maintenance Supervisor will also develop schedules to ensure machines are properly kept.

Dallas Maintenance Supervisor Job Opening

The Dallas Maintenance Supervisor will direct, supervise, and coach the maintenance technicians.
Develop preventative maintenance schedules for each machine and for the entire facility. Ensure that personnel for each shift are able to complete the scheduled maintenance activities.
Coordinate with manufacturing management to ensure that maintenance activities will not cause downtime, or schedule the activities in order to minimize downtime.
The Dallas Maintenance Supervisor will document all mechanical failures, and will work to identify the cause of failures to avoid future instances.
Make suggestions for capital equipment upgrades and other such purchases.
Ensure that maintenance personnel are properly trained in diagnosing equipment break downs and failures, and understand how to verify that a piece of equipment is working properly.
The Dallas Maintenance Supervisor will document all maintenance tickets, and assign maintenance functions to personnel.
Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and irregularities to influence the maintenance schedule.

Maintenance Supervisor (Dallas Area) Job Requirements:

A two or four year degree from an accredited institution or certificate from a vocational program would be preferable for this job.
At least seven years of maintenance experience.
At least four years of management experience.
Experience administering a preventative maintenance system.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiar with Microsoft office suite of programs, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
A high level of technical aptitude.
Able to read, interpret, and analyze technical documents.
Able to explain technical concepts to personnel with less technical understanding.
Able to manage several projects simultaneously, meeting benchmarks and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
