Orlando Maintenance Manager Overview:
The Orlando Maintenance Manager will oversee all maintenance programs and technicians within the facility. The Orlando Maintenance Manager will ensure that all preventative maintenance schedules are maintained and that maintenance ticket requests are fulfilled in a timely manner. The Orlando Maintenance Manager will report to the Plant Manager within the facility.
Orlando Maintenance Manager Job Opening:
- The Orlando Maintenance Manager will oversee the preventative maintenance programs within the facility to minimize breakdowns and work stoppages.
- Record instances when emergency maintenance is required in order to improve the effectiveness of preventative maintenance programs.
- Ensure that all technicians are trained in proper maintenance and safety techniques.
- The Orlando Maintenance Manager will participate in continuous improvement projects and activities.
- Oversee the maintenance ticket system, assign maintenance requests to technicians, and ensure that tickets completed as soon as possible.
- Ensure that maintenance performed is beyond satisfactory and that breakdowns will not occur again.
- The Orlando Maintenance Manager will partner with quality and manufacturing engineers to identify possible solutions to manufacturing problems.
- Develop and refine the preventative maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with production supervisors and planners to schedule maintenance at times that will minimize downtime.
Maintenance Manager (Orlando Area) Job Requirements:
- A minimum of a high school education or an equivalent.
- A vocational education would be preferred for this role.
- At least seven to ten years of maintenance experience in an industrial facility.
- At least three to five years of management experience of a maintenance team in an industrial facility.
- Demonstrated history of leading and developing cohesive teams.
- High levels of personal organization, able to manage and monitor a variety of tasks concurrently.
- Exceptional understanding of mechanisms and machinery.
- Strong mathematical skills.
