Houston Logistics Manager Overview:
The Greater Houston, Texas area Logistics Manager will be responsible for evaluating and creating an effective balance on service levels and cost to serve in transportation logistics and ensure margin and desired service levels are maintained. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for communicating international transportation capacity plans for the S&OP meeting and overseeing the calculation of logistics capacity units; comparing planned capacity with contracted compacity and ensuring availability of logistics capacity as contracted. The Houston area Logistics Manager must be conscious of not only the safety of operations, but also of the possible environmental impacts of logistics and transport activities.
Houston Logistics Manager Job Opening
- The Logistics Manager will create visibility and accountability and facilitate line-of-sight metrics linking international logistics with the company’s strategic initiative.
- The Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, monitoring, reporting and controlling the efficient movements of North America materials.

Logistics Manager (Houston Area) Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor Science degree.
- 10
years of progressive experience in international transportation, logistics or supply chain management. - Experience as a supervisor or manager.
- Previous SAP experience.
- Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization.
