Nashville Logistics Coordinator Overview:
The Nashville Logistics Coordinator will ensure that shipments are leaving and arriving on time. Ensure that invoices are properly handled and that all paperwork is accounted for. The Nashville Logistics Coordinator will report to the Supply Chain Manager. The Logistics Coordinator will also handle vessel booking and will ensure that data is properly entered into the company’s system. The Logistics Coordinator will work regularly with 3pl companies and other associated companies to ensure shipments arrive on time and are expedited when necessary.
Nashville Logistics Coordinator Job Opening:
- The Nashville Logistics Coordinator will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that materials are shipped on time and arrive on schedule.
- Partner with outside logistics providers to ensure that materials be expedited as necessary.
- Select carriers based on rates and speed of shipments.
- The Nashville Logistics Coordinator will oversee imports and exports.
- Ensure that invoices are properly filled out and submitted.
- Book vessels for shipments.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
Logistics Coordinator (Nashville Area) Job Requirements:
- A four-year degree in the field of business, supply chain, or a related area.
- At least three years of experience in a similar logistics role.
