Columbus Lean Leader Overview:
The Lean Leader will work with assigned clients to implement and oversee the implementation of Lean systems. The Columbus Lean leader will develop plans and trainings for each site to address its unique needs. The Columbus Lean Leader will work with key client personnel to foster or improve the culture of continuous improvement. The Lean Leader will regularly review processes to minimize waste and improve efficiency.
Columbus Lean Leader Job Opening:
- The Columbus Lean Leader will analyze, identify areas for improvement, and roll-out changes to improve the efficiency of lean practices and processes within client facilities.
- Develop Kaizen procedures for client facilities based on their unique processes in order to consistently improve functions.
- Perform assessments of client procedures and processes, identify gaps, and make suggestions for improvements.
- The Columbus Lean Leader will develop strategies and plans to regularize functions through the client’s facility.
- Create production goals and objectives and utilize Lean principles to meet those goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal personnel and client supply chain personnel to effectively carry out all functions.
- Keep record and documentation of all metrics and actions taken, consistently audit all work.
- Keep an up-to-date understanding of all operating systems within the client facility.
- Perform other tasks as directed by regional or local management.
Lean Leader (Columbus Area) Job Requirements:
- A four year degree in a field related to supply chain management or business from an accredited institution.
- Five to ten years of experience in the field of logistics, supply chain, or distribution.
- A proven history to implementing Lean Six Sigma procedures.
- Familiarity with a wide range of supply chain improvement tools and metrics.
- Familiarity with manufacturing and warehouse procedures.
- A proven history of overseeing problem solving events.
- A high level of familiarity with Microsoft excel and utilizing its statistical analysis tools.
- A proven history of successful project management, able to oversee several projects simultaneously without missing goals or benchmarks.
