This job opening is an entry-level job that is required to beef up the site’s policy on good manufacturing practices (GMP). He or she will need to audit different areas of the greater Fresno manufacturing facility and strategize methods for continuous improvement when it comes to food safety and quality. On a regular basis, he or she will be analyzing different samples of foods and materials and compiling reports on how they factor into the daily production of the location. For this Fresno job, the Laboratory Technician will report to the greater Fresno Lab Manager while on-site and will not have any direct reports.
Fresno Laboratory Technician Job Opening
- The Laboratory Technician will assist the Laboratory Manager on a daily basis with the preparation of lab analyses and sample preparation.
- Additionally, he or she will need to collect samples of product from the manufacturing production process to conduct analyses on good manufacturing practices.
- There is no travel outside of Fresno, California required for this job.
- The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for creating lab reports and data.
- To promote the environmental health and safety of the Fresno lab, the Laboratory Technician will dispose of all hazardous material that he or she comes across.
Laboratory Technician (Fresno Area) Job Requirements:
- At least a bachelor’s degree in a chemistry-related field is required for this job.
- At least 3 years of experience in a lab environment.
