- The Jackson, Michigan area Key Account Manager will handle all commercial functions for the company’s current and potential customers.
- Understand and adhere to the safety and quality requirements of the company’s suppliers and customers.
- Grow continuous improvement in sales objectives in order to meet goals set by the CEO and Sales Director.
- Grow new customer base and continue to meet needs of existing customers with particular focus on quality and safety.
- This role will periodically have to travel outside of Jackson, Michigan to visit customers on-site.
Key Account Manager (Jackson Area) Job Requirements:
- A four year degree from an accredited institute in business administration, sales, engineering, or a related field. A Master of Science in Business Administration or Finance is highly preferable.
- Experience in automotive sales and engineering.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Plex ERP preferred.
- Strong communication skills in order to interact with internal/external customers as well as other departments in the company is necessary for this job role.
- Strong organizational skills, problem solving, work ethics, and stress tolerance in the work place.
