Detroit Human Resources Administrator Overview:
The Detroit Human Resources Administrator will perform assigned tasks in order to assist with functions of the human resources department. The Detroit Human Resources Administrator will facilitate recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of employees. The Detroit Human Resources Administrator will work with department supervisors and employees to mitigate personnel issues and concerns. The Detroit Human Resources Administrator will report directly to the Senior Human Resources Administrator.

- The Detroit Human Resources Administrator will partner with the Senior Detroit Human Resources administrator to ensure all human resources functions performed.
- Complete assigned tasks and projects in order of priority and deadline.
- Ensure that policies are communicated to all appropriate staff members.
- The Detroit Human Resources Administrator will keep an open door policy and will work with employees to handle issues and complaints.
- Prepare and lead presentations to train employees and inform employees of policy changes.
- Provide assistance and recommendations to department supervisors based on company policies and employee feedback.
- The Detroit Human Resources Administrator will utilize a variety of social media and online resources to recruit candidates for job openings.
- Screen candidates over the phone for preliminary interviews.
- Ensure new employees are properly trained and onboarded.
- Perform other duties as necessary and directed.
Human Resources Administrator (Detroit Area) Job Requirements:
- A four year degree in human resources, business, or a related area from an accredited institution.
- At least five years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
- Experience performing human resources functions for a manufacturing company.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate comfortably with members of the organization from the c-suite to the manufacturing floor.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Understanding of the principles of confidentiality.
- Exceptional organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Familiar with Microsoft office suite of programs, particularly word, excel, powerpoint, and
- Energetic, engaging personality.
- Comfortable preparing and leading presentations.
