Detroit Michigan HR Generalist Overview:

The HR Generalist will primarily function as an extension of the company’s Executive Vice President of Global Human Resources. The HR Generalist will also need to very well connected with the company’s global internal HR network. Additionally, this job will need to interface with the company’s network in India, while managing payroll and finance functions of the organization in Detroit, Michigan. He or she will additionally serve as a corporate communications function of this job. The HR Generalist will report directly to the EVP of Global Human Resources for this job.

Detroit HR Generalist Job Opening

For this job, the HR Generalist will maintain status of all international assignments going on within the organization via monthly reviews.
Additionally, he or she will work with ax consultants and insurance providers to ensure that optimal coverage is being provided for all members of the organization.
The HR Generalist will also ensure compliance IPMD systems within the organization.
The HR Generalist will periodically travel outside of the Detroit, Michigan area for this job.
The HR Generalist will take on any additional jobs as necessary.

HR Generalist (Detroit Area) Job Requirements:

A 4-year degree in a business-related field is required for this job.
At least six years of HR experience, including payroll, recruiting, and social media is required for this job.
Experience in the automotive industry is a plus for this job.
Experience with international businesses.
