Rockford HR Assistant Overview:

This job will enact all duties that involve the employment process for the company. For this  job, the HR Assistant will serve in a supporting role to the entire Human Resources department at the greater Rockford, Illinois site. The HR Assistant will not manage any one employee directly, but he or she will be expected to support recruiting efforts and communicate with all levels of the organization. The Human Resources Assistant will report to the Human Resources Director for this job.

• The HR Assistant will support all recruiting efforts for the greater Rockford, Illinois plant by utilizing a wide variety of sources, including online resources, local networking, and other channels of recruitment.
• Additionally, the HR Assistant will help maintain human resources files and records.
• The role must ease the employment and onboarding process for the Rockford, Illinois site.
• This job must also help administer employee benefits.
• This position will have a role in ensuring plant safety and regulations while on-site.
• The HR Assistant will assist with data entry and administrative functions for this job. 

HR Assistant (Rockford Area) Job Requirements:

• An Associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, or two-year technical degree is required for this job.
• At least two years of prior HR experience, ideally for a manufacturing environment.
• Strong recruiting ability, as well as experience in the onboarding process.
