Chicago ESH Field Coordinator Overview:
The ESH Field Coordinator will work on assigned project to ensure that programs and projects meet and work within appropriate rules and regulations. The Chicago ESH Field Coordinator will work closely with the Site project Manager as well as engineering and management personnel across projects.

- The Chicago ESH Field Coordinator will partner with projects staff to ensure that project actions comply with all internal regulations as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
- Organize, carry out, and record inspections of project sites to identify hazards, improper behaviors, and areas of improvement.
- Partner with personnel when developing project plans to identify areas of ESH concerns.
- The Chicago SH Field Coordinator will assist with the creation of work plans and the control process to identify ESH concerns.
- Lead accident investigations and oversee rend analysis to high light concern areas as well as develop improvements.
- Prepare reports for Management on data, site observations, and appropriate regulations.
- The Chicago ESH Field Coordinator will take part in several committees and regularly meeting groups.
- Follow and take responsibility for all ESH regulations related to projects.
ESH Field Coordinator (Chicago Area) Job Requirements:
- A four year degree in a field relating to Environment, Health, and Safety.
- A minimum of ten years of construction related experience.
- A thorough understanding of all procedures, regulations, policies, and requirements laid out by appropriate regulatory agencies.
- A high level of familiarity with work planning and control processes, particularly hazard analysis
- An exceptional level of problem solving and reasoning skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working in a team environment with a number of personnel.
- Familiarity with Microsoft office and other document management programs.
- Comfortable working in an environment where a high level of production is required.
