Dallas Mechanical Engineer Overview:

The Dallas Mechanical Engineer will design product sheet metal parts and assemblies using SolidWorks CAD software. A key responsibility of this job will be performing heat load calculations and finite element analysis to meet design and application requirements. The Mechanical Engineer will actively participate in cross-functional team meetings to provide technical expertise. This role will ensure that all engineering deliverables are in compliance with the project and other relevant regulatory requirements and that they meet all approved specifications. Additionally, the Dallas MechanicalM Engineer will perform qualification testing on customized units and provide engineering assistance to technicians during troubleshooting.

Mechanical Engineer (Dallas Area) Job Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) is required for this job.
• Two or more years of experience in a design or manufacturing environment is essential.
• CAD software experience is a must, SolidWorks experience is a plus for the Design Engineer role.
• A strong working knowledge of the fundamentals of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics concepts is required.
• The candidate must be comfortable in a hands-on and fast-paced manufacturing environment to be successful in the Design Engineer role.
