- Support the overall direction and strategic leadership of the department.
- Develop a relationship with customers and have an understanding for their needs.
- Promote a safe workplace by maintaining safe work practices and workplace organization.
- Responsible for ensuring proper equipment maintenance within the facility.
- Plan production to meet the production schedule through appropriate staffing levels.
Department Manager (Columbia Area) Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred for this role.
- At least 5 years of manufacturing management experience.
- Experience with nylon extrusion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong team builder who can drive results.
