Los Angeles Demand Planning Manager Overview:

The primary job of the Demand Planning Manager will be to head up the demand forecasting operations of the organization while working out of Los Angeles, California. In addition to forecasting sales and planning customer demand, the Demand Planning Manager will need to serve as a leader within the organization when it comes to planning out sales and resource allocation. For this job, the Demand Planning Manager will head up meetings that identify issues with forecasting and strategize ways in which to continuously improve processes. The Demand Planning Manager will be a part of the company’s Supply Chain Department and will report directly to the Sales and Operations Planning Director for this job. 

Los Angeles Demand Planning Manager Job Opening

• The Demand Planning Manager is wholly responsible for the forecasting of sales and for allocation and planning of SKUs at the Los Angeles, California location.
• For this job, he or she will need to adjust sales forecast on a monthly basis, while participating in meetings designed to reduce overconsumption and underconsumption.
• The Demand Planning Manager will contribute to the training and mentoring of supply chain staff within the organization.
• The Demand Planning Manager will handle any additional jobs as requested by the company’s Sales and Operations Director.
• There is little travel outside of Los Angeles, California required for this job. 

Demand Planning Manager (Los Angeles Area) Job Requirements:  

• A bachelor’s degree in a supply chain, business, or economics field is required for this job.
• At least 5 years of experience in demand planning and sales forecasting.
• Experience in the beverage industry is a plus for this job.
