Rockford CNC Machinist Overview:
For this job, the CNC Machinist must operate large machinery and manage the feeds of material that go through them. Additionally, the CNC Machinist will have to adjust the machine for various tolerances and products that need to be made. The CNC Machinist must be familiar with a wide variety of industries, including medical devices, manufacturing, aerospace, industrial, and defense. The CNC Machinist will be a part of the machining and manufacturing department and will report to the Rockford, Illinois plant’s Production Manager. The CNC Machinist will have no direct reports for this job and will be a part of a machining team.
Rockford CNC Machinist Job Opening
- For this job, the CNC Machinist will examine routings and blueprints to set the CNC Machine correctly.
- Additionally, this role will collaborate with the maintenance department to sustain proper machine upkeep and operations.
- This job will make various adjustments to the CNC machines.
- The CNC machinist will work alongside the engineering and operations teams to remedy faulty drawings and blueprints.
- This job will take on any additional duties as necessary at the great Rockford site.
CNC Machinist (Rockford Area) Job Requirements:
- At least a high school diploma is required for this job.
- At least 5 years of CNC machining experience.
- Experience in diversified manufacturing environments is essential for this job.
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) is a plus for this job.
