Elkhart CNC Machinist Overview:

For this job, the CNC Machinist will work in the Elkhart, Indiana plant by studying blueprints, customer schematics, and drawings in order to manufacture products with CNC machines. The CNC Machinist will work on the 3^rd shift and will need to be able to produce a high volume of product in order to sustain customer demand. The CNC Machinist will also be in charge of setting up the lathes and mills for each job order. The CNC Machinist will report to the Production Manager at the greater Elkhart, Indiana plant for this job and will be a part of the manufacturing department.

Elkhart CNC Machinist Job Opening

The CNC Machinist will utilize CNC machines while working on the company’s 3^rd shift in order to manufacture products for company customers.
For this job, he or she will need to allocate inventory for each job as he or she will be responsible for ensuring timely completion of products.
Periodically, the CNC Machinist will contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of equipment at the Elkhart, Indiana plant.
The CNC Machinist will need to set up the mills and lathes for each job.
There is little travel outside of Elkhart, Indiana required for this job.
The CNC Machinist will take on any additional jobs as assigned by the Production Manager.

CNC Machinist (Elkhart Area) Job Requirements:

A high school diploma at minimum is required for this job.
At least 2 years of CNC machining and set up experience is required for this job.
