Dallas Buyer Overview:
The Buyer, to be located in the Dallas, Texas area, will be primarily responsible to ensure that the manufacturing facility receives an uninterrupted flow of materials to support maximum production. The Dallas based Buyer will generate purchase orders in concordance with requisitions and contractual requirements. In this job, the Dallas area Buyer will review the master production schedule to validate purchase demand. The Dallas, TX Buyer job is also important for assisting with supplier negotiations in order to ensure that all inventory goals and objectives are met. Additionally, the successful Buyer, in the Dallas area, will contribute to supplier performance evaluations to ensure continued excellent supplier performance.
Dallas Buyer Job Opening:
- This job will be responsible for ensuring that the manufacturing facility has the necessary inventory to operate at maximum efficiency.
- The Buyer will need to recognize when material needs to be expedited and be prepared to make the necessary negotiations with suppliers to ensure operation goals and objectives are met.
- This job requires a review of purchase requisitions and the creation of purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- The Buyer will also assist the supplier evaluation process to support consistent supplier quality and continued performance.
- Overall, the Buyer will ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Buyer (Dallas Area) Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree is required for this job.
- Previous experience (at least 5 years) in purchasing or supply chain is also required for this job.
- Experience utilizing MRP systems in terms of procurement strategies.
- This job will require experience with defense acquisitions. Experience with FAR and DFAR are preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required for this role.
