The Des Moines Assistant Plant Manager will lead regular meetings with manufacturing associates and supervisors. The Assistant Plant Manager will ensure that all activities are being performed according to the company’s manufacturing best practices. The Assistant Plant Manager will meet regularly with direct reports to provide direction on implementing initiatives and driving productivity improvements.
Des Moines Assistant Plant Manager Job Opening:
- The Des Moines Assistant Plant Manager will provide direction to supervisors and manufacturing technicians within the plant each day.
- Ensure the daily production goals are met by assigning work to different teams.
- Lead and participate in safety and equipment training seminars.
- The Des Moines Assistant Plant Manager will lead and participate in process improvement activities.
- Develop training materials for new hires.
- Participate in the hiring and selection process for certain positions.
