Los Angeles Acoustic Engineer Overview:
The Acoustic engineer must have a great deal of acoustics experience in order to be an effective member of the company’s engineering team. He or she must be familiar with modeling, transducer design, propagation, and performance and simulation in order to have success. The Acoustic Engineer will need to lead experiments and produce highly advanced tests at the Los Angeles lab. For this job, the Acoustics Engineer will not have any direct reports, bur will be reporting to the company’s Acoustics Manager while on-site at the greater Los Angeles, California location.
Los Angeles Acoustic Engineer Job Opening
- This job will come up with and manage experiments relating to acoustics, transducers, and the research that goes into them.
- The position must also develop the skills and work performance of other members of the Acoustic Engineering Team.
- This role must find ways to measure output pressure and the performance of transducers while working out of the greater Los Angeles, California lab.
- The position involves a lot of strategy involving short and long-term goals of the engineering team.
- The role must adhere to safety and quality standards when conducting experiments.
- Additionally, he or will take on any other duties as given by the Acoustics Manager.
- There is little to no travel outside of Los Angeles, California that is required for this job.
Acoustic Engineer (Los Angeles Area) Job Requirements:
- At least some post-graduate work in the field of acoustics.
- A bachelor’s degree in an engineering field is required for this job.
- Experience working in teams is a plus for this job.
