Minneapolis Robotics Technician Overview:
The Robotics Technician, to be located in the Minneapolis, MN area will be responsible for the installation and programming of robotic equipment to support the production process. This job will require programming new workcells and robots. Additionally, the Minneapolis based Robotics Technician will perform preventative maintenance to ensure that all workcells and robots are operating appropriately, which may include repairing or replacing defective parts. This job will also require training workcell technicians and operators to ensure all staff is using equipment accurately and in compliance with health and safety regulations. This role will also focus on continuous improvement to improve the production process and achieve company goals.
Minneapolis Robotics Technician Job Opening:
- The Robotics Technician will support the production process by installing and programming automation equipment.
- This job will perform preventative and repair maintenance as needed on all workcells and robots, as well as installing new equipment.
- The Robotics Technician will strive for continuous improvement to further meet company goals and objectives.
- This job will train and assist workcell operators and technicians to ensure equipment is being used properly.
- This role will also maintain equipment records and update documents as needed based on repairs and part replacements.
Robotics Technician (Minneapolis Area) Job Requirements:
- This job requires an associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school.
- At least 5 years of experience or training is required for this job.
- Previous experience with robotics or automation equipment in a manufacturing environment
- A strong understanding of advanced robotic programming (like Fanuc).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are absolutely necessary for this job.
