Chicago Quality Manager Overview:

The Chicago Quality Manager will be responsible for administering, auditing, and overseeing the quality systems within the facility. The Chicago Quality Manager will take part and lead investigations to improve process quality. The Chicago Quality Manager will work closely with the Manufacturing Engineering team to improve metrics in the manufacturing process. This role will allow great opportunities for growth.

Chicago Quality Manager Job Opening:

The Chicago Quality Manager will be responsible for establishing quality procedures, guidelines, and other documents necessary for ensuring compliance with quality programs.
Lead all audits and develop solutions for any issues within the manufacturing systems.
Provide tasks for quality technicians to perform during their shifts.
The Chicago Quality Manager will take part in investigations of the manufacturing system related to quality issues and other problems.
Participate in and lead continuous improvement events within the facility.
Partner with Manufacturing Engineering staff to diagnose process issues that are causing quality defects.
The Chicago Quality Manager will develop training procedures for new quality team members.
Work with customers to understand quality defects.

Quality Manager (Chicago Area) Job Requirements:

A four year degree in engineering, another technical field, or business is required for this job.
At least 8 years of experience in a quality role in a manufacturing environment.
At least for years of experience in a management role in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent familiarity with testing and measurement tools common with quality investigations.
Exceptional math skills, able to develop calculations to discover solutions.
Strong communication skills.
