Ann Arbor Director of Quality Overview:
For this position, the Director of Quality must ensure customer and governmental compliance for both the American and Mexican facilities. The Director of Quality will oversee all of the assembly PPAP packages and will be responsible for coordinating the audits. Additionally, the Director of Quality will be in charge of overseeing several quality professionals and coordinators. This role must also strategize continuous improvement plans for both the greater Ann Arbor, Michigan and the Mexico plants. The Director of Quality will be an integral piece of the manufacturing executive team and will report to the company’s Chief Executive Officer.

- For this job, the Director of Quality must create a comprehensive quality system for both of the Ann Arbor and Mexican plants.
- This job will oversee PPAP functions at all company plants.
- The role will conduct all documentation and records control for the Ann Arbor and greater Mexico plants.
- The Director of Quality will take on any special assignments from the Ann Arbor Chief Executive Officer.
- The position will conduct a strategy for all corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) for customer relations.
- There is moderate travel across the plants that is required for this Director of Quality job.
Director of Quality (Ann Arbor Area) Job Requirements:
- A 4-year degree in an engineering-related field is required for this job.
- At least 7 years of progressive quality experience is required for this position.
- Ability to lead teams and set performance metrics.
