Louisville Maintenance Group Leader Overview:
As the Maintenance Group Leader of the Louisville, Kentucky plant, the primary task will be sustaining and further optimizing the highest level of uptime and availability of the facilities’ technical infrastructure. The Maintenance Group Leader is responsible for providing good directions for all tasks related the physical plant. Coordination and ordering of all capital expenditure items related to production and testing are also responsibilities of the Maintenance Group Leader. Prospective job candidates must be qualified to provide direct supervision over physical maintenance and repair of buildings, vehicles, equipment and tooling while working out of the Louisville, Kentucky site.
Louisville Maintenance Group Leader Job Opening
- The Maintenance Group Leader is responsible for aiding all areas in maintenance and improving the physical work environments through policy change, minimized environmental impact, and changed programs / practices.
- This job is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, implementing, directing, and coordination of all efforts of the Louisville facilities maintenance team.
- The Maintenance Group Leader will formulate policies and procedures for the maintenance department and recommend these policies and procedures to senior members of management.
- This job will require that all necessary actions are taken to fulfill OSHA legal requirements.
Maintenance Group Leader (Louisville Area) Job Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Candidates with journeyman qualifications or comparable mechanical and technical focused qualifications are highly preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in maintenance, planning and commissioning in an industrial setting.
- Experience regarding designing or modifying equipment is a plus.
- Ideal candidates will possess a deep knowledge of theoretical and practical Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Toyota Production System (TPS).
- Must be highly focused, reliable, and above all a team player with great dedication and strong personal initiative.
