The Toronto Web Developer will work with business leaders in the company to identify the purpose and needs for planned products.
Oversee the process of integrating information into new or existing products, work with stakeholders to ensure that the final product meets all needs.
Develop structural plans for web development projects with deadlines and benchmarks.
The Toronto Web Developer will assign tasks to members of the web development team to ensure projects are completed before the deadline.
Collaborate with the Web Development team to check code and evaluate systems to ensure optimum functionality.
Consistently maintain coding knowledge and remain current in the trends and developments in the field of web development.
Take part in product presentations, performing assigned tasks, and meeting with clients.
Perform other tasks as necessary and directed by business leadership.

Web Developer (Toronto Area) Job Requirements:

A four year degree from an accredited university in a related field.
A minimum of five years of experience in a relevant Web Development role.
Experience with Ruby (Solid Ruby on Rails; Rails 2 through 4) and Javascript (MVC Framworks; NodeJS development, configuration and tooling) programming languages.
Experience designing with HTML and CSS for a minimum of five years.
Design experience with web frameworks.
Able to write database code for both relational and non-relational databases.
Familiar with REST or SOAP-Based API integration.
Experience with Salesforce, Ical, Zimbra, and eloqua integration processes.
Able to work in a collaborative team environment, but also able to work independently with little direction.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
An understanding of business processes.
