Columbus Vice President of Finance Overview:
The Columbus Vice President of Finance will be the main financial leader for the company. The VP of Finance will provide financial advice and long term planning for all financial portions of the business to the leadership team. It will be the Columbus Vice President of Finance’s responsibility to identify potential financial risks and to develop contingency plans in order mitigate any such risks. Additionally, the Vice President of Finance will assist in developing realistic financial objectives annually and quarterly with the leadership team.

- The Columbus Vice President of Finance will handle the financial activities for the company, particularly driving progress on objectives set out in the annual operation plan.
- Analyze the financial developments of the company, particularly monthly financial indicators.
- Analyze financial forecasts in order to plan for ideal headcounts.
- The Columbus Vice President of Finance will monitor medical device pricing trends and take part in cost initiatives.
- Review new contracts and assist with negotiations in order to continuously monitor the financial impact of such actions.
- Periodically review the financial performance of the business and make recommendations to improve performance to senior leadership.
- The Columbus Vice President of Finance will develop financial policies, strategies, procedures, and objectives to support the success of the company as a whole.
Vice President of Finance (Columbus Area) Job Requirements:
- A minimum of a four year degree in economics, finance, business administration, or accounting from an accredited institution.
- A masters degree in a field related to finance, accounting, or business administration would be preferred for this job.
- At least eight years of experience in an executive level finance role for a healthcare company.
- Proven experience of building a staff through hiring, training, delegating work, and management.
- Possession of a CPA certification would be strongly preferred for this job.
