We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial leadership and oversee the organization’s financial operations, planning, and long-term growth. This executive will partner with senior leadership to strengthen financial performance, manage risk, optimize resources, and support informed business decisions.
Position Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Establish financial objectives, performance targets, and long-term financial plans.
- Evaluate business opportunities, investments, and strategic initiatives from a financial perspective.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and long-range planning.
- Monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, cash flow, profitability, and other key financial metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Oversee accounting, financial reporting, treasury, tax, and other core finance functions.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reporting.
- Maintain appropriate financial controls, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Risk Management & Governance
- Identify and manage financial and operational risks.
- Strengthen internal controls and financial governance practices.
- Oversee cash management, liquidity, and capital allocation.
- Support audits and maintain appropriate relationships with external financial partners and advisors.
Executive & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Serve as a key financial advisor to the executive leadership team.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to align financial priorities with business objectives.
- Communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
- Build and develop a high-performing finance organization.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive progressive experience in financial leadership, including executive-level responsibility.
- Strong background in corporate finance, accounting, financial planning, and analysis.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing financial strategies.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to manage complex financial operations and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience working closely with executive leadership, boards, investors, or other senior stakeholders.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- CPA certification is preferred.
- CFA, CMA, MBA, or other relevant advanced credentials are an advantage.
