We are seeking a motivated and experienced Foreman/Supervisor to oversee daily operations, coordinate work activities, and lead a team to achieve production, safety, and quality objectives. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining high performance standards, and fostering a safe and productive work environment.
Position Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Supervise and lead daily activities of production or operations personnel.
- Assign work, monitor performance, and provide coaching and support to team members.
- Promote a positive, accountable, and safety-focused workplace culture.
Operations Management
- Coordinate daily workflows to ensure production schedules and operational goals are met.
- Monitor productivity and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency.
- Address operational issues and resolve challenges in a timely manner.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and reinforce safe work practices.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions as needed.
Quality Assurance
- Monitor work quality to ensure products and services meet company standards.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Collaborate with quality and operations teams to resolve production issues.
Communication & Reporting
- Maintain accurate production and performance records.
- Communicate operational updates and performance metrics to management.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
Prerequisites
- Previous supervisory or foreman experience in a manufacturing, construction, industrial, or operations environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and operational best practices.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications is preferred.
Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree or technical training is a plus.
- OSHA Safety Certification.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement training is a plus.
