We are seeking a skilled Fine Grade Dozer Operator to perform precise grading and earthmoving tasks for construction and infrastructure projects. This role focuses on maintaining site specifications, ensuring smooth surfaces, and supporting overall project efficiency.
Position Responsibilities
Earthmoving & Grading
- Operate dozers to perform fine grading tasks according to project plans and specifications.
- Ensure surfaces are smooth, level, and meet quality and safety standards.
- Adjust and calibrate equipment to achieve precise grading results.
Site Coordination
- Collaborate with project supervisors and other equipment operators to meet deadlines.
- Follow site plans and blueprints to achieve accurate grading for foundations, roads, and other structures.
- Monitor site conditions and report issues to the project team promptly.
Equipment Maintenance
- Conduct daily inspections and routine maintenance on dozers to ensure safe operation.
- Identify and report mechanical issues or needed repairs.
- Maintain clean and functional equipment throughout the workday.
Prerequisites
- Proven experience operating dozers or similar heavy machinery in construction or civil projects.
- Knowledge of grading techniques and site preparation standards.
- Ability to read plans and understand project specifications.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Heavy equipment operator certification or relevant trade licenses.
- OSHA or other safety certifications related to construction and equipment operation.
