We are seeking a Procurement Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and optimize procurement processes for thermal systems. This role focuses on delivering cost savings, ensuring supply chain reliability, and supporting cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
Position Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for thermal system components and materials
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and performance criteria
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure reliability, responsiveness, and compliance
Cost Optimization & Negotiation
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement
- Implement cost reduction initiatives and track results
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and finance teams to support procurement needs
- Ensure alignment of sourcing strategies with project timelines and organizational objectives
- Support new product launches and changes in supply chain requirements
Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier documentation
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for sourcing initiatives
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and ethical sourcing standards
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing or procurement management, preferably in thermal systems or related industries
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or equivalent
- Lean Six Sigma or procurement-related certifications
What the Role Offers
- Salary range of $160,000 – $165,000
